Murder of Crows
Snow falls down on flowers Winter's freeze is falling over night Freezing summer in the midst of life It's a blizzard taking you away from my sight
Like a murder of crows I say my last goodbyes Though where you go I do not know This is the day of the crow
A church bell breaks the silence Storm clouds chase the light away The world turns round yet time stands still You had to go, you couldn't stay...
Like a murder of crows I say my last goodbyes Though where you go I do not know This is the day of the crow
| Ode to Death
It’s in the year 1365 Only some of us are still alive Horses running, swords towards the sky Steel through bone, a tormented cry
I feel the rush in my veins Tomorrow we shall crush them all I’ll see the ruined remains It’s the day that the drums shall roll
The smell of battle brought on the field Every man bearing sword and shield Years have past since peace has gone No one knows when war has begun
I’ll see their death in their eyes At daylight we will hunt them all When the night sky slowly dies Starts the day that the drums shall roll
An ode to the glory of the reaper A drink to he who shall free us all Fighting our way into the kingdom of death Through rivers of blood and over the wall Our king… hail… His wrath… hail… Our lives… hail… Their blood… hail…
We’ll fight this war until certain death We see the reaper and feel it’s breath When blood meets steel and hits the ground A soul at rest, without a sound
Stainless steel turns to bloody red Heaven of hell is of no concern Thou shalt not kill, the preacher said Don’t care if forever our souls will burn |
