Elizium will headline on the Blast the Walls festival in Gorinchem, a charity event to collect funds for MS (multiple sclerose) research. The festival will take place on November the 8th and all proceeds go to MS Research Netherlands.

We are glad to announce a new data has been found for the show. The 6th of June Elizium will perform together with The Wounded in 'De Gonz', a venue in the Netherlands.

Earlier this year an event was cancelled in Gouda due to a fire in the building where the gig was supposed to take place. We are glad the venue is up and running again and are looking forward to play there.

Unfortunately the show with The Wounded for tomorrow had been canceled due to a fire yesterday in the venue (Studio Gonz in Gouda). We are trying to arrange another date in the near future. We will keep you updated when a new show is to be planned and are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Elizium will perform the 22nd of February on the talent stage of AFAS Live in Amsterdam, directly after the main act.

Friday the 28th of February Elizium will share the stage with The Wounded - a Dutch melancholic rock band - in Gouda, Netherlands. It promises to be a night to remember since this is the first time the two long-standing bands will perform their dark music together.

Together with today's release of Losing Light - the fourth album by Elizium - a new video has been released. This video features Milan van Weelden, a Dutch actor known for various roles in musicals, movies and for voice acting in animation movies.
The song is about loneliness and depression and depicts the feeling of not being able to escape ones inner self.

Earlier this year on solstice Elizium released the title song of the album - Losing Light - as a single and videoclip.

The Losing Light album features 10 heavy melodic dark songs and can be bought on https://store.elizium.nu (CD and vinyl) or listened to on all major streaming services.

To celebrate the release of their new 'Losing Light' album Elizium will perform on October the 4th in Starsound Studio in Utrecht, Netherlands. They will play all songs of the new album together with some older material.

Recordings for the fourth album of Elizium have started in Bullet Sound Studio's with audio engineer Erik Schurman.

Many big names have recorded here, including Prince, Golden Earring, Sepultura, Skunk Anansie, Goede Doel, Lenny Kravitz, Beth Hart, and Falco.

Erik Schurman has a versatile career in the music industry as a successful producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, piano tuner and sound engineer. Amongst others he is known for his production for Barrelhouse, for which he received an Edison award and his band The Handsome Poets.

We are excited to announce our new band member: Reinier Jansen. After many weeks playing with different drummers Reinier emerged at the head of the pack.

Reinier is an astonishing player and a genuinely great person to work with. We are making good progress in finalizing the new compositions and are aiming for new recording sessions later this year.

Even though we are going through unexpected delays with regards to our original schedule we are really satisfied with the current progress and the energy Reinier adds to the band. We are confident this direction will be worth the wait!

Due to a change in our line-up we unfortunately had to cancel our show on the 20th of may in Stadstheater Zoetermeer. Those who had already bought tickets will be reimbursed.

We are sad we have to announce this news, but it had to be done in order to make sure we are ready for new gigs. We have to align our live shows with our recording activities therefore we will take more time to make sure our new material, merchandise and shows will meet our -and your- expectations.  

No worries, we are hard at work and dedicated to our cause, and we are confident that we're on the right track. Its just that due to circumstances more time is required, but we will definitely make it up to you! Thanks for your support!
